Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Labor & Delivery RN

Schedule:

3x12s, 7P – 7:30A (36 hours/week)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• EPIC experience required
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced or NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced
• Key clinical skills:
  Labor & delivery care, vaginal delivery, C-section assist/recovery, fetal monitoring (external & internal, IUPC), and EFM interpretation, IV starts and infusion pump/drip management, postpartum hemorrhage management, magnesium sulfate therapy, epidural care, neonatal care/APGAR, and NSTs
• Experience with administration of blood products, sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients

Compliance / Notes:

• Weekend coverage required
• May be required to float (antepartum / other units as needed)
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Pre-approved time off allowed: 2 shifts/days
• Ohio fingerprinting required
• COVID-19 vaccine not required;
  Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
