Position Summary

As a Direct Care Professional (Direct Support Professional), you will provide hands-on care and support to male and female residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and individual goals. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment while supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Pay Rates & Available Shifts

2nd shift (3p-11:30p). The base pay is $19.75 per hour, with an additional $2.00/hour shift differential and $2.00/hour weekend shift differential.

Job Duties

* Provide direct care and supervision to residents in a residential healthcare setting

* Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and daily living activities

* Support residents in achieving individual goals and fostering independence

* Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment

* Follow care plans, policies, and procedures

* Build positive, trusting relationships with residents and team members

* Uphold confidentiality and dignity at all times

Requirements

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

* Ability to push residents weighing up to 200 pounds in wheelchairs

* Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl

* Ability to speak, hear, and remain alert and awake for the entire shift

* CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided if needed)

* Previous experience preferred but not required
