Physical Therapist - Contingent/IRP
Physical therapists working with the newborn population focus on promoting the physiological, neurological and cognitive development in newborns through evidence-based interventions. They assess reflexes, motor skills, posture, and other physical functions and provide individualized treatments for positioning, sleeping, range of motion, strengthening, self-calming and sensory development. They also educate parents on how to care for their newborn after discharge, ensuring continuity of care.
Provides physical therapy services to newborn patients in the well baby and NICU populations
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited school or Master's degree in Physical Therapy with experience; PT license from state of Ohio;
0 years of relevant experience required; 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
