This is a part-time (20 hours/week, Tues-Thurs), day shift position. Must be a registered and licensed dietician.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing wellness services to contracted companies for the Employer Solutions division. Contract requires consultant to also be a Registered Dietitian in the state of Ohio.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- LIC
- Licensed Dietician with the State of Ohio - RD
- Registered Dietitian - Field of Study:
Health, related field - Years of experience: 1
Desired Attributes:
- Health coach certification
- Healthy lifestyle program design and execution
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Functions as wellness consultant for companies contracted with Ohio Health Employer Solutions.
- Duties as a wellness consultant may include:
- Wellness program design and planning
- Delivering onsite health education/presentations
- Launching wellness challenges and healthy lifestyle programming
- Assisting in coordination of wellness committees
- Liaising with Employer Solutions account manager to recommend additional programs and services to the client.
- Provides biometric results with interpretation and counseling for healthy lifestyle improvements.
- Provides resources such as, Primary Care Physician referral information and condition specific education, to participants as appropriate.
- Serves as a wellness coach to individuals and groups
- Works with team to ensure smooth functioning of employer events.
- Participates in yearly Trainings/Certifications/competencies as appropriate.
