Pay: $60,000 to $65,000

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician to join our residential behavioral health team serving adolescents with complex emotional, behavioral, psychiatric, and trauma-related needs.

In this role, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, and clinical leadership while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping youth heal, grow, and achieve lasting success. What You'll Do Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial, diagnostic, trauma, behavioral health, family systems, and risk assessments.
  • Evaluate adolescents presenting with complex psychiatric, behavioral, developmental, substance use, and trauma-related concerns.
  • Develop diagnostic impressions consistent with DSM-5 standards.
  • Identify clinical needs and recommend evidence-based interventions and treatment approaches.
Individual, Family & Group Therapy
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment modalities, including:
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed interventions
    • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
    • Solution-Focused Therapy
    • Family Systems approaches
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans addressing:
    • Psychiatric symptoms
    • Behavioral concerns
    • Trauma experiences
    • Family functioning
    • Treatment goals and progress
Crisis Intervention & Risk Management
  • Serve as a clinical leader during behavioral health crises and high-risk situations involving:
    • Suicidal ideation
    • Self-injurious behaviors
    • Homicidal ideation
    • Aggression
    • Elopement risk
    • Psychosis
    • Significant emotional dysregulation
  • Develop and oversee safety plans, crisis response strategies, and stabilization interventions.
  • Provide consultation and clinical guidance to residential and direct-care staff regarding crisis management and behavioral interventions.
Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with:
    • Organizational policies
    • Payer requirements
    • State regulations
    • Accreditation standards
    • Professional ethical guidelines
  • Maintain assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, risk assessments, discharge summaries, and clinical correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid requirements, licensing regulations, and professional ethics standards.
Collaboration & Care Coordination
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Support continuity of care and discharge planning to promote successful community reintegration.
  • Partner with:
    • Families and guardians
    • Child welfare agencies
    • Juvenile justice representatives
    • Schools
    • Healthcare providers
    • Community partners and referral sources
Family Engagement
  • Facilitate family therapy and caregiver involvement throughout treatment.
  • Provide psychoeducation related to diagnoses, treatment interventions, behavioral strategies, and developmental needs.
  • Support family engagement to improve treatment participation and outcomes.
Professional Leadership
  • Mentor pre-licensed clinicians and interns as appropriate.
  • Maintain active licensure and professional competency through continuing education and professional development.
  • Participate in supervision, peer consultation, trainings, and organizational initiatives.
  • Adhere to all professional codes of ethics, regulatory standards, and scope-of-practice requirements.
Qualifications Required
  • Master's degree or higher in:
    • Social Work
    • Counseling
    • Marriage and Family Therapy
    • Psychology
    • Related Behavioral Health field
  • Active or provisional clinical licensure, including:
    • LPC-A
    • LSW
    • MFT-T
    • State equivalent credentials
  • Or independent licensure, including:
    • LPC
    • LMHC
    • LCSW/LISW
    • LMFT
    • State equivalent credentials
Preferred
  • Independent clinical licensure.
  • Certification or advanced training in:
    • TF-CBT
    • EMDR
    • DBT
    • Other evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Experience working in:
    • Residential treatment
    • Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF)
    • Inpatient behavioral health
    • Intensive community-based services
    • Child welfare settings
