- Wexner Medical Center. This role pays $2,267 per week and follows a Days shift with a 4x10 schedule. In this travel X-Ray Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

- Perform ordered diagnostic X-ray exams across the assigned caseload
- Position patients and operate radiographic equipment, adjusting technique and collimation for each study
- Apply radiation-safety practices, including exposure optimization and ALARA principles
- Critique images for positioning and exposure quality, minimizing repeat exposures, and provide completed studies to radiologists
- 2+ years of recent X-Ray Tech experience.
- Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Ohio and national regulatory bodies.

OSU Wexner's allied work lives in three distinct buildings: trauma and transplant flow through University Hospital, cardiac through the Ross Heart Hospital, and radiation oncology through the freestanding James Cancer Hospital.
- University Hospital's Level I trauma center, central Ohio's only adult burn center, and the region's only adult solid-organ transplant program drive complex trauma, burn, and transplant OR and imaging cases.
- The Arthur G. James, a freestanding NCI-designated cancer hospital, supports radiation therapy, dosimetry, and oncology imaging.
- The Ross Heart Hospital concentrates cardiac cath, electrophysiology, and cardiovascular surgery for cath-lab and CV techs.
- Imaging runs at academic scale across CT, MRI, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound.
- A Center for Neuromodulation and neuroscience program add neuro-interventional volume; pathology and labs run at research-institution scale.
