Key Responsibilities

  Actively engage the individual in community outings, such as local festivals, parks, or neighborhood events.

  Support individuals in developing healthy personal boundaries and improving organizational skills in their daily routines.
• Budgeting and Problem Solving:
  Assist the consumer with budgeting for community outings and daily needs, and provide guidance in problem-solving through everyday challenges to foster independence.
• On the Move:
  Provide safe transportation to and from community events, social outings, and appointments.
• Meal Planning:
  Assist with meal planning and cooking (bringing your own energy and creativity to the kitchen!) and keep the home environment organized and welcoming.
• Documentation:
  Maintain detailed and accurate daily communication and tracking logs while following the Individual Service Plan (ISP).

What We Are Looking For

• Availability:
  We need a dedicated professional available weekdays after 2:30 PM and weekends starting as early as 8:00 AM.
• Energy & Personality:
  You are naturally outgoing, energetic, and love to communicate with consumers, families, and team members.
• Confident Driver:
  You are comfortable behind the wheel and ready to help our consumers access the world around them.
• Physical Strength:
  Ability to lift at least 50 pounds comfortably and perform physical tasks throughout your shift.
• Reliability:
  You are a dependable professional who understands our consumers rely on you for their daily quality of life and community engagement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
• Must be able to pass BCI & FBI background checks.
• CPR/First-Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting).
