Job Title
Clinical Research Coordinator - Radiology
DepartmentMedicine | Radiology
The Body MRI and Women’s Imaging Group under the direction of Dr. Catherine Moran is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, and proactive individual to perform participant facing activities, manage research data collection and storage, and to contribute to group research output including manuscript and grant preparation.
Responsibilities- Assess patient records to identify subjects eligible to participate in specified clinical research protocols.
- Recruit, interview, and enroll subjects; obtain informed consent and ensure the consent process complies with regulatory and sponsor requirements.
- Educate subjects and families about the purpose, goals, and processes of the study.
- Coordinate scheduling of research study appointments and greet and accompany study participants during appointments.
- Manage the collection and storage of study data, including contributing to the initial development of the study database and performing ongoing data analysis.
- Support activities to ensure compliance with all Institutional Review Board (IRB), FDA, federal, state, and industry sponsor regulations; assist with coordinating and preparing for external quality assurance and control reviews.
- Participate in activities to develop new research protocols and help establish study goals to meet protocol requirements.
- Contribute to research output of the group, including support of manuscript and funding proposal preparation for all lab members.
- Successful completion of a background check, and drug screening or physical exam may be required as part of the post‑offer process.
- Bachelor’s degree in biological or physical sciences, health sciences, or another medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a clinical research capacity.
- Experience or knowledge in the field of medical imaging preferred.
- Clinical research certification from an accredited agency considered an asset.
- Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft applications and Red Cap.
- Successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
Evening hours may be infrequently required.
