Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements:
- 2+ years acute care RN experience
- 1+ year high-acuity PCU experience – REQUIRED
- BCLS, ACLS & NIH required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Must be comfortable floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity
Unit Details:
- 36-bed Oncology Telemetry unit
- 24+ beds are PCU level
- Small Med/Surg population
- Pediatric patients are extremely rare; pediatric experience not required
- Patient population:
Solid Tumor, Orthopedic Oncology & Thoracic Oncology - PCU ratio: 1:3
- Med/Surg Tele ratio: 1:4–5
- Weekend requirements are variable
Required Skills:
- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Rapid response
- Central/PICC/Peripheral line management
- Port access
- Blood product administration
- Heparin protocols
- Cardiac drips, including titration
- PCA pumps
- Chest tubes
- CPAP/BiPAP & HFNC
- ABG interpretation
- Tracheostomy management
- Feeding tubes
- IV starts
Preferred: Chemotherapy administration/monitoring, insulin drips, wound care/wound vac, arterial lines, surgical drains, phlebotomy.
