Electronic Imaging Technician

Ohio Health is seeking an Electronic Imaging Technician to support our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will scan, index, and verify medical records and diagnostic images for accuracy, quality, and timely availability within our electronic health record systems. You will ensure strict HIPAA compliance, follow imaging workflows, and collaborate with clinical and Health Information Management teams. Responsibilities

• Digitize and index medical records and diagnostic images into electronic systems
• Ensure image quality, accuracy, and completeness of patient records
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Ohio
• Health data security policies
• Coordinate with clinicians and HIM staff to resolve imaging or documentation issues
• Monitor imaging queues and prioritize workload for timely record availability
• Perform routine quality audits and contribute to process improvements
• Troubleshoot basic issues with scanners and imaging software
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the imaging workflow
