Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (where applicable) What You ll Do Assist pathologists in grossing and histological processing of specimens, primarily benign lesions (95%) and some cancer resections Work in the Doan lab handling specimens from the University Hospital OR, including native livers and colon cancer resections Select tissue specimens for karyotyping and biopsy procedures, supporting research and diagnostic workflows Prepare and document tissue samples for pathology review and further testing Support procurement activities and maintain specimen integrity under supervision Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing and accurate reporting What You Need

Required:

Certified Pathologists Assistant (PA) (ASCP) Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting Preferred:
Experience working with benign and malignant tissue specimens Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced lab environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills About the Assignment Join a respected lab within a leading healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio, working in a dynamic environment that handles a variety of specimen types from the hospital s OR.
