Registered Nurse – Neuro/Stroke PCU
Night shifts, rotating weekdays and weekends, with weekend coverage required.
36 hours per week, with floating within the healthcare system as needed.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
Active RN compact or state license at the time of submission.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
EPIC charting experience required.
Core clinical skills: neuro stepdown/PCU care and stroke management, post-TPA/TNK administration monitoring, craniotomy and lumbar drain care, EEG familiarity, dysrhythmia recognition/management, peripheral line care, blood product administration, supplemental oxygen.
Provide patient care for adults in a neuro/stroke PCU setting.
Monitor and manage patients post-stroke interventions and neurological procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
Utilize telemetry for patient monitoring and manage care based on findings.
Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccination not required. Submission and fingerprinting requirements must be met prior to start.
