Training
Location:
Westerville PSC, 444 N. Cleveland Ave., Westerville, OH 43082
Schedule- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM
Duration- 4 months
- Perform approximately 30-50 blood draws per day.
- Collect, label, handle, and process blood specimens accurately.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient/specimen information.
- Complete required administrative paperwork and documentation.
- Follow established procedures for specimen processing and handling.
- Provide professional and courteous service to patients.
- Work in an office-based phlebotomy environment.
- Collaborate with one other team member to support daily operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
- Hands-on blood-drawing experience required.
- Experience with data entry and specimen processing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and patient-service skills.
- Candidates with zero phlebotomy experience will not be considered.
- Approximately 2-3 weeks of training required.
- Training will be conducted at Westerville PSC, Westerville, OH.
- Travel is required for training only.
- In-office phlebotomy setting.
- No specialty patient population required.
- Candidate will work with one other team member.
- Expected standing time is approximately 5-10 minutes per patient.
No specific vaccinations are required for this position.
