Position Summary
We are seeking a General Manager (GM) of Giftcare to own the day-to-day operations of Gifthealth’s upcoming GLP-1 telehealth program following launch. This position plays a key role in supporting the clinical partnership with SteadyMD, the end-to-end patient journey, and the operational metrics that determine whether patients start and stay on treatment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.
DescriptionPosition Summary
We are seeking a General Manager (GM) of Giftcare to own the day-to-day operations of Gifthealth’s upcoming GLP-1 telehealth program following launch. This position plays a key role in supporting the clinical partnership with SteadyMD, the end-to-end patient journey, and the operational metrics that determine whether patients start and stay on treatment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic oversight in Giftcare implementation through launch.
- Own the day-to-day operations of Giftcare.
- Serve as the primary owner of the clinical partnership with prescriber network, managing performance, escalations, and a joint operating cadence.
- Own the end-to-end patient journey, from intake through the prescription journey to ongoing adherence, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience at every step.
- Define, track, and continuously improve the operational metrics that determine whether patients start and stay on treatment.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific telehealth regulations and manage prior authorization (PA) workflows across the program.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, clinical, compliance, and customer support teams to resolve operational issues and improve the patient experience.
- Report on program performance, risks, and opportunities to Gifthealth leadership.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent practical experience. - Licensure/Certification:
Not required. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance frameworks is preferred. - Experience:
8 years of experience in healthcare operations, digital health, or telehealth, including proven experience managing a clinical vendor or provider group relationship (not just a software vendor), and experience in a leadership or management role. - Skills:
- Demonstrated experience managing a clinical vendor or provider group relationship, not just a software vendor.
- Strong working knowledge of state telehealth regulations and prior authorization (PA) workflows.
- Comfort operating in a compliance-driven healthcare environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance across distributed or cross-functional groups.
- Strong understanding of the GLP-1 prescription journey or specialty pharmacy operations. (Preferred, not required.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated application of the above qualifications.
- Comfortable building processes and structure in an early-stage, fast-moving program.
- Bias toward action, balanced with rigor around compliance and patient safety.
- Strong relationship-management instincts with external clinical partners.
- Patient-centric mindset, genuinely invested in helping people start and stay on treatment.

Remote or Hybrid - Schedule:
Full-time; standard business hours with flexibility for occasional off-hours coordination with our clinical partner. - May require availability outside standard hours for escalations related to patient care continuity.
- Regular meetings with SteadyMD’s clinical and operations teams, and with Gifthealth’s product, compliance, and customer experience teams, to ensure alignment.
