** Scope of Position
** Serves as the primary customer service personnel for Nutrition Services for internal and external customer calls; is responsible for communicating pertinent information to the appropriate party in a timely manner. This position provides a high-quality dining experience to patients which meets their nutritional requirements and service expectations regarding temperature, timeliness, and food quality. These services assure individual patient preferences in diet selection and prompt, accurate handling of nutritionally balanced menus.

** Position Summary
** Responsible for superior customer service in providing information to callers and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.  This involves processing internal and external calls through an integrated computer telephone system, utilization of department nutrition software and communication applications.  Position is responsible to help patients order through receiving room service calls and proactively reaching out to patients.  Hospital personnel, and patient, calls should be handled with superior customer service, answering nutrition-based questions within scope, and relaying information to appropriate staff members;
