Job Description

Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Ethics and Compliance Program in satisfying the seven essential elements of an effective compliance program, including: (1) assisting the compliance officer, compliance committee, compliance directors, and/or compliance managers as needed; (2) developing, reviewing, and/or revising compliance policies and procedures, including standards of conduct; (3) assisting with the development and maintenance of open lines of communication;

(4) developing, delivering, and/or managing the delivery of appropriate specialized and general compliance training and education; (5) responding to detected offenses; (6) managing internal monitoring and auditing activities; and (7) assisting with the enforcement of disciplinary standards.

Responsibilities And Duties:

1. Compliance Program Operations:75%
Assist with the execution of multiple, concurrent, time-sensitive, complex projects, including:
Drafting and/or revising policies and procedures i.e., , compliance program policies as well as departmental procedure s ;
Drafting and editing compliance program publications including Ohio Health's Code of Conduct, the Ethics and Compliance Departments eSource Web page, and other Ohio Health compliance articles and publication s ;
Assisting with documenting the annual compliance risk analysis;
Assisting in the completion of the annual compliance effectiveness review;
Developing compliance communications;
Overseeing the compliance exit interview processes;
Assisting in the management of the Ohio Health Hotline i.e., , the Ethics and Compliance Hotlink e to include assigning reported matters and preparing all related reports;
Assisting subject matter experts with the review and revision of general and specialized training and education e. g. , Initial Compliance Education as well as Annual Compliance Education module s . 2. Ethics and Compliance Senior Leadership Committee:20%
Preparing reports for senior management as well as providing overall support to the Ethics and Compliance Senior Leadership Committee Boar d , including: preparing committee meeting materials, minutes, and other reports, as appropriate.
5. Other Duties as Assigned:5%
Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer;
Director, Ethics and Compliance; and Manager, Ethics and Compliance Compliance Program Operation s .As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
