Hours: 40 per week, First Shift
Signing Bonus: $15,000
The Interventional Radiology division operates stationary IR equipment located in University Hospital and The James Cancer Hospital. The Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic, cardiovascular, and interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. This position also provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division under the direction of the Imaging Manager.
Responsibilities- Perform invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures.
- Provide patient education regarding the procedures.
- Conduct quality assessment activities for the division under the direction of the Imaging Manager.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Certification.
- Ohio Department of Health Radiology License.
- Advanced registry in Angiography or Interventional Radiology or Vascular within 24 months of hire.
- 0 years of relevant experience required; 0–2 years preferred.
