• Provide direct patient care, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support.

Respiratory Therapists must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds y must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Must have 1 year of recent acute care experience and be an active BLS, RRT, ACLS certification holder. NBRC and 2 Years of experience are also listed. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
