  • Starting pay: $16 per hour plus $3–$5 per hour in tips
  • No experience needed
  • Work schedule:

    7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday (first shift weekdays)
  • Benefits: accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, 401k retirement plan (eligible for full‑time employees); seasonal and temporary roles may not be eligible.
Summary

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The position includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, and assisting guests with luggage (including delivery and pick up) during arrival and departure.

Essential Functions
  • Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Uses salutations of the day, welcomes guests, practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette and posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks.
  • Plays the role of a valet: parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
  • Provides assistance with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested; shuttles guests to approved locations.
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys; collects claim checks and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt.
  • Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Licensure, Certification, etc.: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Minimum age: 18 years; must pass criminal background and drug screen.
  • Experience:

    One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge:
    Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Skills:

    Ability to read/write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; present information to guests, clients and colleagues; basic math (add and subtract up to three digits, multiply/divide with tens and hundreds using U.S. money); understand 24‑hour and military time; understand rates applicable to time passed; manual transmission operation (highly desirable); parallel parking.
  • Physical:
    Ability to talk or hear, sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; lift up to 100 lbs occasionally; 50 lbs frequently; 20 lbs constantly. Must adapt to extreme heat and cold; may involve outdoor exposure.
Scope, Authority and Working Conditions

Job is routine; follows established practices and procedures; decisions within operational instructions and departmental guidelines.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Compensation is based on job‑related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range is $16 per hour plus $3–$5 per hour in tips.

Work schedule:

weekdays, first shift (7am‑3:30pm). Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits outlined above.

Travel

Travel of up to 5% may be required.
