Role Description

The Room Attendant role at HOME 2 SUITES is a full-time, on-site position located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. In this role, the Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all surfaces and fixtures are sanitized. The role includes managing laundry tasks such as collecting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels according to property standards.

Room Attendants respond to guest requests in a courteous manner, report maintenance issues, and follow safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and secure environment. This position requires consistent attention to detail, the ability to work on one’s feet for extended periods, and collaboration with the housekeeping team and other hotel staff.

Qualifications
  • Strong housekeeping skills, including the ability to clean rooms thoroughly and maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Experience handling laundry tasks such as washing, drying, and organizing linens and towels.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Ability to follow instructions, adhere to safety and hygiene procedures, and manage time efficiently.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods as required by daily cleaning tasks.
  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
