Event Set‑Up Team Lead

Because we are looking for a Full-Time Event Set‑Up Team Lead!

What does the ROLE entail?

• Responsible for the set-up and tear-down processes of all event functions at Hyatt
• This position works closely with the Events and Event Services departments to ensure exceptional guest service results
• This position is very hands on and requires continuous walking, standing, and lifting of tables, chairs, and other event related equipment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and potential holidays
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Maintain excellent communication and coordination with all hotel departments

EXPERIENCE:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have physical stamina to lift, carry, and push 25lbs+ and tolerate continuous walking and standing
• Unafraid of guest service related tasks, projects and responsibilities
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• A fun and energized person
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• 1 Year + of Event Setup Experience in a large-scale environment preferred
