Clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms are at the heart of every great stay — and our Room Attendants help create those experiences every single day. As a Room Attendant, you’ll help ensure guest rooms and hotel spaces are spotless, refreshed, and ready to welcome guests with the warmth and care that defines our People People culture. • Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned hotel areas according to hotel brand standards and operational procedures.
• Replace linens, towels, amenities, and guest supplies while ensuring rooms are refreshed, organized, and guest-ready.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, maintenance concerns, and operational readiness throughout shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage closets, linen areas, and operational work spaces.
• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, safety concerns, and room status updates promptly and accurately.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and housekeeping service needs throughout the day.
• Follow sanitation standards, chemical handling procedures, hotel safety policies, and operational guidelines at all times.
• Support deep cleaning projects, room inspections, VIP arrivals, and special housekeeping assignments as needed.
• Partner closely with Housekeeping leadership, Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Help create clean, welcoming, and comfortable spaces that deliver memorable guest experiences aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, cleaning, janitorial, or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong time management, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, chemical handling, and hotel safety practices preferred.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and service-focused mindset.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests, team members, and hotel leadership.
• Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, holidays, and operational support as needed.
• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, cleanliness, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
