Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs,etc, for full service of banquet events. Examples: laying table linens, settingchinaand silverware, filling waterpitchersand brewing coffee.
• Responsible for preparing any items that will be present on the tables whenguestenter, including salt and pepper, sugar bowls, rolls and butter and salad dressings. Settingdecorationscenterpieces, lightingcandlesand overall setup of the table.
• Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events, responsible for serving the meal, refilling water glasses and other beverages,bartending – based on appropriate certification,tending to any other miscellaneous needs that guest in that area may have.
• Maintaining a buffet and all items necessary forguestto serve themselves.
• Responsible for clearing dishes and preparing them for the dishwashers.
• At closeofevent, the banquet serveris responsible forclearing any remaining items from table and bringing them back to their respective storage places.
• Knowledgeable about food served, taking time beforemealto review the menu and be able to answer guest questions.
• Complete all other assigned duties when necessary.

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Maintainsenseof urgency when on the service floor, be attentive toguestwithout being intrusive to the guest, able to make the guest feel at ease and create a comfortable environment.
• Maintainback of house,front of the houseand side work duties for the overall productivity of banquet events, outstanding organizational and time management skills,abilityto work independently.
• Maintainpositiveand professional attitude, while being a team player.
• Seek council from management when needed.
• Being able to follow directions efficiently andmeetingthe physical demands of the job.
• Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success.
• Focus on job responsibilities while being onfeetand moving around freely,examples: bending, climbingstairsand carrying
• items weighing 25-50 pounds.
• Follow Health and Safety practicesat all times.
• Varyingscheduleto include evenings,holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
