Red Roof Plus Columbus OSU is looking for dependable, detail-oriented housekeepers to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms.

Typical Schedule:

8:30am to 4pm Depending on number of rooms to clean
Weekend and holiday availability are required.

• Starting pay of $16–$18 per hour, based on experience.

The sign-on bonus is paid in three installments:

• $100 after 30 days of employment
• $150 after 90 days of employment
• $250 after six months of employment

Sign-on bonus payments are subject to the company’s eligibility and employment requirements.

• As a housekeeper, you will help make sure our guests have a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. Your responsibilities will include:
• Cleaning assigned guest rooms and designated public areas according to company and brand standards.
• Changing bed linens and making beds
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Dusting, vacuuming, and restocking room supplies
• Making sure every assigned room is clean and guest ready.
• Responding to housekeeping‑related guest requests in a friendly and professional manner
• Reporting maintenance concerns, room issues, damages, and lost‑and‑found items promptly.
• Maintaining a professional appearance, following company dress, and grooming standards
• Working with the front desk and housekeeping team to prepare rooms on time

• Takes ownership of assigned rooms and responsibilities.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Take pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Brings a positive and professional attitude.
• Is comfortable working in an active, fast-paced environment?
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required for all scheduled shifts.
• Is available to work weekends and holidays.

Previous hotel housekeeping or customer service experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to consider dependable candidates who have a strong work ethic and are ready to learn.

Bilingual English and Spanish skills are helpful but not required.

Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
