Position SummaryThe primary job function of the HR/Payroll Coordinator is to provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources and Payroll Departments. This position will perform various HR, Payroll and Benefits Administration functions and tasks as directed and assigned.
Essential Functions- Coordinate the onboarding activities of new hires from offer acceptance to arrival. Manage the tracking of all required HR and Benefits forms and activities for all new hires. Upload and maintain appropriate benefit and employee documents into ADP Workforce Now system per guidelines and on an ongoing basis.
- Assist with processing payroll and associated tasks for assigned company codes using ADP Workforce Now. Update ADP for promotions, transfers, terminations and new hires. Answer questions and resolve issues regarding payroll and/or employee's needs.
- Assist Recruiter with applicant screening as assigned. Upload and maintain appropriate recruitment documents into ADP Workforce Now system.
- Responsible for reviewing and verifying non-exempt employee timecards in the ADP Time and Attendance module. Provide Time and Attendance support for all offices.
- Coordinate and manage events for HR department programming such as social events, chair massages, staff and paralegal appreciation event, recognition ceremony, flu shots, and new hire and anniversary gift programs.
- With assistance from HR Supervisor, manage the Labor Poster and e-Labor Poster service program.
- Reconcile and pay the parking bills on a monthly basis for all monthly parkers in the Columbus office. Maintain the parking subsidy spreadsheet. Work directly with parking companies in assisting employees to find parking options when needed.
- Assist with communication and tracking of mandatory trainings. Manage the scheduling, tracking and reimbursement of courses taken through various programs and sources.
- Perform clerical duties for the HR and Payroll departments, as assigned. This includes check requests, department product and service orders, form/document preparation, workplace flexibility requests, memorial/donation requests, address/phone lists and department time off tracking.
- Conduct regular file maintenance consisting of organizing electronic and onsite files and cabinets, ensuring accuracy of content. Oversee records retention practices as needed.

Required
- Basic knowledge of Human Resources concepts and principles
- Working knowledge of Payroll and HRIS application
- Precise data entry skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Skills and Abilities
Preferred
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in similar field required.
- Payroll processing experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or combination of equivalent education and experience preferred.
The expected pay scale for this position is $ per hour (overtime eligible per applicable laws) with an approximate annualized equivalent of $46,.00 based on 37.50 hrs./week. Actual earnings may vary. The actual compensation offered will depend on factors such as your qualifications, relevant experience, education, work location, and market conditions.
