Summary

As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will be to assist with and facilitate talent acquisition and retention on a regional level that aligns with The Village Network’s Mission, Vision & Values. Support HRBP maintaining open communication and contact with all hiring managers in the region and corporate, including attendance at required meetings and providing status reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the SVP of Care Management, HR Business Partner, hiring managers, corporate HR, and candidates to execute an efficient and highly effective recruiting process that creates an exceptional candidate experience and promotes positive full‑cycle employee relationship management.
  • Takes ownership for any actions needed with the new hire directly or supporting teams to ensure our new hires onboard from Offer Accept (OA) steps through successfully starting their scheduled day one.
  • Monitor and support all pre‑onboarding processes, including background check submissions, monitoring and troubleshooting, mandatory document verification, start date change management, and assistance with IT equipment, orientation enrollment, and credentialing.
  • Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations, networking events, and employee referral programs.
  • Build and manage college and university recruiting efforts throughout the region by attending college and career fairs during key recruiting seasons each year, and managing relationships with professors, career services, and other staff/faculty.
  • Evaluate applications, review resumes, conduct reference checks, complete initial phone interviews, coordinate on‑site interviews, and participate in selection, hiring and candidate onboarding process.
  • Support HRBP recruitment marketing strategies in support of TVN’s brand and recruitment efforts.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain local community networking relationships.

Analytics Responsibilities:

  • Meet all goals related to key staffing metrics as defined by Corporate HR and the CME region HRBP, including time‑to‑fill, applicant conversion rate, turnover, retention, etc.
  • Conduct 30‑, 60‑, and 90‑day orientation surveys as well as exit surveys; accumulate and analyze data for trends.
  • Collect and analyze data related to the regional recruiting performance; tell a story with identified trends that influence the business through quarterly reviews.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resource management, marketing, psychology, communications, or related field, or at least 3 years of direct relatable experience in human resources or talent acquisition.
  • General knowledge of social media and related tools; background in cultivating online communities.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS) a plus.
  • Must be service oriented, highly engaged, driven by metrics, approachable, and possess a sales mentality.
  • Requires use of critical thinking and the ability to independently provide solutions to challenges.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office products; aptitude for new software applications.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and analytical problem solver; ability to multi‑task and prioritize efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being team‑ and customer‑focused.
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintenance of a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with The Village Network’s vehicle insurance provider.
