Scope Of Position
The Department of Human Resources Shared Services supports the staff and management of The Ohio State University Medical Center. Services provided include recruitment, education, OD/leadership development, training, HRIS, payroll, compensation, and more. The staff of the Department of Human Resources is available to staff, faculty and administrators to provide assistance in all Human Resources matters. HR is designed to facilitate the implementation of human resources policies and programs and the resolution of human resources related problems.
PositionSummary
The Sr. HR Business Operations Analyst reports directly to the Director – HR Compliance & Operations, and works collaboratively with HR leadership to develop programs and systems that ensure compliance, strong service delivery, and internal/external customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include cascading scorecards and metrics for HR that align with key initiatives supporting the HR strategic plan, managing the HR scorecard and enterprise scorecards, identifying predictive indicators to prioritize HR initiatives, and ensuring cross‑functional service delivery of key HR initiatives with stakeholders inside and outside HR.
DutiesAnd Responsibilities
- Develop and manage ongoing updates, review, and interpretation of HR scorecard and enterprise scorecards with indicators measuring tactical, operational and strategic goals. Identify predictive indicators that can be used to prioritize HR initiatives and resources.
- Review and lead discussions to ensure meeting and exceeding the annual HR budget; identifying opportunities for continued efficiencies in HR through integration, efficiency, technology and collaborative efforts across the WMC and OHR.
- Work collaboratively with HR leadership to ensure compliance, strong service delivery, and internal/external customer satisfaction.
- Ensure cross‑functional service delivery of key HR initiatives across HR as well as key stakeholders outside of HR.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preference in Human Resources, Hospital Administration, Business, Accounting/Finance, or related area. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, health care setting desired; 8‑12 years experience preferred.
- Tableau experience with some Power BI preferred.
- Must possess analytical and problem‑solving skills and demonstrate the ability to work independently and take initiative for process improvement.
- Must demonstrate ability to ensure quality in own work and develop strategies to assure accurate presentations.
