About the Opportunity

, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Compliance Assistant to join our Human Resources team on a temporary basis during our peak seasonal hiring period.

In this role, you will support the onboarding experience for new hires across the organization, with a primary focus on conducting virtual Form I-9 appointments, reviewing employment eligibility documentation, assisting with background screening processes, and providing responsive support to employees and internal HR partners.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands‑on Human Resources experience in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll work closely with our HR and Talent Acquisition teams and play an important role in helping new employees successfully complete the onboarding process.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct virtual Form I-9 appointments with new hires through Microsoft Teams.
  • Review employment eligibility documents for accuracy and compliance with established requirements.
  • Ensure Form I-9 documentation is completed accurately and within required timelines.
  • Review completed background checks and assist with monitoring background screening statuses.
  • Help resolve onboarding documentation issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Respond to questions from new hires, recruiters, hiring managers, and HR partners through Microsoft Teams, telephone, and other communication channels.
  • Provide guidance to new hires regarding onboarding requirements and required employment documentation.
  • Assist employees experiencing issues with onboarding systems or documentation.
  • Manage scheduled appointments and multiple onboarding cases while meeting deadlines and service expectations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employee records and sensitive personal information.
  • Provide additional HR onboarding and administrative support during periods of high seasonal hiring volume.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, employee onboarding, recruiting support, administrative support, customer service, or a similar environment is preferred.
  • Experience with Form I-9 verification, employment eligibility documentation, or background screening is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes consistently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with new hires through Microsoft Teams, video calls, and telephone.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information professionally.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday for the duration of the temporary assignment.
