Job Description

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, Office of Human Resources, is seeking an intern to assist with various administrative projects.

Major Responsibilities and Duties
  • Update position description templates (e.g., department name, department , office name)
  • Track updated position descriptions by office
  • Save position descriptions with established naming convention
  • Scan and index personnel files in electronic personnel system (i.e., OnBase)
  • Assist staff with boxing up files per records retention schedule
  • Update templates and forms to department approved letterhead
  • Use checklists to assist in archiving electronic documents on SharePoint sites
  • Generate HR reports and compile statistics in bi‑weekly report
  • Support HR senior analysts and managers by providing administrative support on various projects as needed

Qualifications

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
