HR Generalist / Talent Management, Recruiter / Talent Acquisition, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HRIS Specialist
The HR Generalist is at the heart of the day-to-day employee experience, working with people across the organization while also helping improve the processes that support them. No two days will look the same; you might help a manager work through an employee situation, welcome a new hire, answer an HR question, improve a process, or help roll out a new employee program.
Working closely with the Director of HR and leaders across the organization, this role provides practical HR support while looking for ways to make HR processes more efficient, consistent, and easy to navigate. The HR Generalist will have a hand in a little bit of everything, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, HR operations, compliance, employee engagement, and process improvement.
The role calls for someone who is approachable, organized, curious, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves; someone with strong emotional intelligence who can build trust with employees and managers, navigate sensitive situations with good judgment, and spot opportunities to make things work better. Construction industry experience is a major plus, particularly for someone who understands the pace, dynamics, and people-centered nature of the industry.
A natural problem-solver who enjoys both working with people and improving the processes behind the work will thrive in this role.
