The Human Resources Assistant will support the daily operations of the HR team and report directly to the Human Resources Manager.
Duties:- Greet prospective employees, maintain front desk and distribute application
- Answer HR related phone calls and respond to inquiries on application status
- Schedule interviews and confirm orientations
- Gather, compile, and verify information for orientation
- Complete onboarding new employees during the orientation process on alchemy
- Daily filing, replenishing, scanning and copying HR related materials
- Collaborate with multiple internal departments to complete daily HR duties
- Complete daily absenteeism report and emailing to manager
- Conduct annual unwelcome behavior training
- Post internal job positions
- Submit monthly hire report
- Conduct Monthly birthday celebrations
- Available to assist with company party set up
- Daily corrective action communication to the union
- Other job related duties as requested
- 1 year HR or equivalent experience
- Experience with E-Verify, a plus
- Ability to work with confidential information in a discreet manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent problem solving abilities and a strong work ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel and Word applications
- Excellent Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
