Job Description Summary

Designs, develops, and maintains complex information systems software to meet organizational needs.

• Designs and develops software applications to meet the needs of the organization.
• Tests and debugs software applications to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Maintains and updates existing software applications to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
• Collaborates with other IT professionals to integrate software applications with existing systems.
• Provides technical support to end-users to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.
• Keeps up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development to ensure the organization remains competitive.

• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, customer service, and communication skills required to interact effectively with all hospital staff, medical staff, and external contacts.
• Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
• Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision and identify, collect, and analyze data.
• Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics, with the ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects.
• Ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
• Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues. Working knowledge of relevant programming languages and environments.
• Ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes, and applications.
• Knowledge regarding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to employ a structured methodology is crucial for successful delivery and management of software products.

• Two years of experience in system or application programming, required.
• Experience in hospital information systems, preferred.
