Title: Audio Visual Field Service Technician

Location: Onsite in Columbus OH

Duration: Permanent

Salary Range: 45K-78k annually (commensurate with experience)

Must-Haves
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Solid understanding of commercial audio-visual signal flow and design, ideally 2-3+ years
  • Strong communication skills and ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Ability to navigate high-pressure situations and de-escalate conflicts effectively.
  • Self-sufficient, well-prepared, and motivated to prioritize and execute tasks quickly.
  • Fully invested in providing a superior customer experience and making a positive impact on peers and customers.
Plusses
  • CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist - Installation) certification.
  • Knowledge of Audio DSP and Crestron/AMX programming.

We are seeking several AV Technicians dedicated to providing superior customer service and building strong relationships with our customers and team members. Job Responsibilities
  • Identifying and resolving issues in audio, video, control, and networking systems.
  • Troubleshooting and escalating programming issues in the field, making necessary changes independently or with assistance.
  • Coordinating new customer incidents, problems, and requests via a ticketing system.
  • Performing onsite preventative maintenance for support contract clients, ensuring all devices function as intended.
  • Conducting research on system lifecycle and assisting customer engagement teams in improving customer experience.
  • Providing training to customers on the use of their audiovisual systems.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve and optimize team effectiveness.
