As a part of HPC Client services team, you will help provide top-tier support to users of our High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems. This role involves a blend of technical problem-solving and customer service, ensuring smooth operation and efficient use of OSC’s HPC resources.
Required qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Basic Linux/UNIX skills
* Experience in scripting and programming (C/C++, Fortran or Python)
* Good written and communication skills
* Courteous, helpful, professional attitude
* Experience in high performance computing; more advanced Linux/UNIX, scripting and programming is a plus## Additional Information:
* This position offers employment throughout the year, including the summer months and academic breaks.
* Work schedule:
Flexible during business hours 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday-Friday
* Position is hybrid including both on-site and working remotely. May change in future (location is on West Campus – 1224 Kinnear Road)
