Cable Technician

1. Proficient with Cable Pulling - Cat6

2. Installation of IP Cameras

3. Installation of access control systems

4. Proficient with using scissor lifts

5. Experience installing projectors or A/V equipment

• High communication and professionalism skills are essential for candidates
• Install various network cabling infrastructure in a data center environment, including structured cabling (CAT 3, CAT 5, CAT 6 copper, fiber, coaxial), patch panels, and wire management systems
• Coordinate, install, and test premises equipment such as PDU’s, computers, switches, routers, optics, wireless access points, and other transport equipment in a data center environment
• Utilize industry-standard cable testing procedures and equipment for various cabling systems, including wire mapping, OTDR, network analyzers, and visual fault locators
• Device rack and stack
• Hard drive installation and replacement
• Conduct media testing including fiber and copper using appropriate testing equipment

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Columbus, OH.
