IT Test Analyst - IT

Overview

We are seeking an IT Test Analyst – IT Applications (Warehouse Management System) to join a high-performing Quality Assurance team. This role focuses on test preparation and execution for WMS applications, working closely with cross-functional onshore and offshore teams. The Test Analyst will collaborate with application teams, test leads, and QA managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that supports warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations.

• Participate in functional and technical design reviews to gain a strong understanding of business processes, technologies, and system architecture
• Create, update, and maintain test scenarios and test cases aligned with functional requirements
• Ensure appropriate test data is defined, prepared, and available in test environments
• Execute test cases, record results, and provide proof of testing
• Document defects clearly and accurately; retest fixes in a timely manner using required test management tools
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and status effectively to test leads and QA managers
• Deliver high-quality work that meets the needs of application teams and business partners
• Collaborate in a cross-functional project environment, including onshore and offshore teams
• Assist in driving issues to resolution and ensuring timely closure
• Complete assignments on schedule based on priorities defined by the test lead

• Retail industry experience preferred
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
• Hands-on experience testing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), specifically Manhattan PKMS
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes
• Familiarity with warehouse exception handling
• Experience testing order release, shipping confirmation, inventory feeds, and return processing interfaces between OMS and PKMS
• Knowledge of PKMS batch jobs and screen flows
• Experience validating integrations between PKMS and ERP systems
• Understanding of EDI flows and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for end-to-end validation
• Ability to validate database tables using basic SQL queries
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
• Experience working on projects involving multiple teams and resources
• Experience in onshore/offshore delivery models
• Familiarity with HP ALM, JIRA, or similar test and defect management tools
• Strong organizational, planning, documentation, and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively
• Proactive team player who takes pride in delivering high-quality work
