Network Cybersecurity Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Network Cybersecurity Engineer to support and enhance their enterprise security and network infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC) design and deployment, and strong hands-on networking and cloud experience.

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions using Palo Alto Networks platforms
• Lead NAC design, setup, configuration, and ongoing optimization across the environment
• Support and enhance cloud‑based and on‑prem network infrastructure
• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for high‑severity network and security incidents
• Monitor, analyze, and harden network traffic, access policies, and threat activity
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to align network security with business requirements
• Develop technical documentation, standards, and best practices
• Recommend improvements to strengthen Zero Trust, segmentation, and overall security posture

• 5+ years of Palo Alto experience (firewall configuration, Panorama management, threat prevention)
• 5+ years of NAC design/setup in enterprise environments
• Strong networking foundation (routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, BGP/OSPF)
• Cloud platform networking experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Tier 3 troubleshooting experience in complex distributed environments
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices
