As part of this mission, we are building a local GTM Hub office in Columbus to serve as the center of activity and collaboration.

Role Summary

We are early, ambitious, and building in public. Social is a core storytelling and growth channel for everything we do. We are looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes social strategy, understands how tech culture moves online, and is excited to build and scale a portfolio of brands from the ground up. This role will start with owning the OH.io

social channels and quickly expand to managing social strategy and execution across multiple brands and initiatives under the OH.io movement. You will help define voice, build momentum, grow communities, and translate real‑world experiences into compelling digital narratives. This role will shape how the world experiences the OH.io movement as it grows, from the first post to a global festival and beyond.

You will have real ownership, creative freedom, and the opportunity to build something that scales far beyond a single brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and Scale Social Strategy
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for OH.io, aligned with brand, growth, and community goals
    • Expand and adapt that strategy across new brands and initiatives as they launch under the OH.io movement
    • Manage a growing portfolio of social channels across platforms including Linked In, X, Instagram, Tik Tok, and future channels as needed
  • Create and Publish Compelling Content
    • Plan, create, and publish original content including short‑form video, static posts, carousels, threads, and stories
    • Translate events, programming, launches, and in‑person moments into engaging social‑first content
    • Partner with internal teams to capture content at the physical space, events, and an annual festival
  • Build Community and Engagement
    • Actively engage with founders, operators, investors, creators, and partners online
    • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a way that feels human, timely, and on‑brand
    • Identify opportunities to collaborate with creators, community members, and ecosystem partners
  • Manage Editorial and Brand Consistency
    • Own social content calendars across multiple brands and initiatives
    • Maintain consistent voice, tone, and visual identity while adapting for different audiences and platforms
    • Work closely with brand, design, and events teams to ensure cohesive storytelling
  • Measure, Learn, and Iterate
    • Track performance across platforms and brands, using insights to refine strategy
    • Experiment with formats, posting cadence, and platform‑specific trends
    • Share learnings and recommendations with the broader team
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience managing social media for brands, startups, media companies, or tech organizations
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling social presence across multiple platforms
  • Comfortable using modern social and automation tools to streamline workflows, schedule and repurpose content, track performance, and scale social media efforts efficiently across multiple brands and channels
  • Strong content creation skills, especially short‑form video and social‑first storytelling
  • Experience managing content calendars and juggling multiple priorities or brands
  • Familiarity with social analytics and performance tracking tools
  • Bonus: experience covering live events, festivals, or community‑driven brands
  • You love social media and understand how strategy, creativity, and timing intersect
  • You are deeply interested in startups, entrepreneurship, AI, and emerging technologies
  • You are excited by the idea of managing multiple brands and narratives at once
  • You are comfortable building from zero and iterating in public
  • You have strong editorial instincts and a sharp eye for what will resonate online
  • You are organized, self‑directed, and thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments
