Job Summary
We are seeking a Process Automation Analyst to join the Automation COE. This hybrid role blends business process expertise, process automation design, and hands on implementation using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate). The analyst will partner with business stakeholders across the utility to understand current state, establish optimal future state process and requirements, translate process needs into automated solutions, support integration, and drive measurable operational improvements.
Job Description What You'll Do:- Lead discovery and mapping sessions to document end‑to‑end business processes, pain points, and value drivers.
- Design, build, and test automation solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), support RPA implementation lifecycle.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers, vendors, and integration teams.
- Drive system and user acceptance testing automation deliverables; support data validation with business SMEs.
- Establish governance, best practices, and reusable automation components for the COE.
- Mentor junior analysts on process analysis, automation patterns, and tool usage.
- Collaborate with leadership to define team strategy, priorities, and execution plans.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and process improvement within enterprise environments.
- Hands‑on experience developing automation with UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate).
- Solid SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases and data integrations.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate operational challenges into measurable automation and process outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to present insights to senior leadership.
- Experience working in or supporting the utility/energy sector preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Kanban delivery approaches.
Skills:
- UiPath certifications and Power Platform certifications.
- Utility industry experience, including operational processes and regulatory context.
- Experience creating governance frameworks for automation and process intelligence.
- Ability to scope business impact and estimate benefits (time, cost, risk reduction).
