Brooksource is looking for entry-level Business Systems Analysts to join our Banking Client in January 2026. We are hiring for multiple positions that will be part of a professional development program. You will receive technical and professional training. If you are interested, please apply!

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with APIs
  • Exposure to one or more cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Primary Responsibilities
  • Participate in the analysis and review of epics, features, and user stories
  • Participate in the design and review of technical design of component software features
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
  • Modify existing software applications as assigned
  • Participate in code reviews and the integration testing of solutions
  • Participate in the debugging and resolution of issues found during testing
  • Assist in the documentation and implementation of software programs and solutions
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams interfacing with assigned application
  • Create and maintain system documentation, manuals, policy documents, etc.
  • Research and analyze production support issues
  • Participates in production releases as scheduled

Primary Responsibilities
  • Breakdown features to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements/user stories.
  • Participate in all such as Daily Stand Ups, Deliverable Reviews, Status meetings, etc.
  • Facilitate meetings as needed.
  • Aid in the triage of defects during testing cycles.
  • Support testing efforts as needed.
  • Develop and update documentation to support new/changes to procedures.
  • Work with team to respond and answer questions generated by team members and business partners.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and development team.
  • Participate in production release activities as needed.
  • Participates with team to establish target dates and complete activities/artifacts under changing conditions.
  • Provide system support for assigned business unit or assigned application(s).
Job Requirements
  • 1 year of business or data analysis experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships, or work experience in lieu of participation in the Elevate Program.
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Strong experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience creating process maps.
  • Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions.
  • Ability to translate technology into relatable concepts for business partners and stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively with all business and IT areas.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • High level of professionalism, confidence, and ability to build credibility with team members and business partners.
