Job Summary
We are seeking a helpdesk technician, preferably local to the Columbus, OH area, to join our hybrid team working three days per week onsite. This role operates during core business hours, Monday-Friday (7am-4pm or 8am-5pm EDT).
Responsibilities- Gather, document, and perform initial troubleshooting on customer technical issues via phone support.
- Manage tickets submitted through the self-service portal and respond to chat requests.
- Perform computer-based application work within a Microsoft/Windows environment.
- Stay current with products and services through ongoing training and documentation review.
- Strong customer service skills; experience in a contact center or performing phone/email support is a plus.
- Comfortable using ticketing systems such as Service Now, Share Well, or Spiceworks.
- Technical experience and certifications such as A+ are beneficial but not required.
- One to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a degree is not required.
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to staying current with products and services.
This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits- Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
