We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect 2 to join our Information Technology Services team. This role will play a crucial part in transforming our technology and business landscape by working across the organization to define, architect, and lead the implementation of a consolidated application platform using Salesforce and Mule Soft solutions to enhance the services we provide to our business, county boards, providers, and the community.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect 2, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of new solutions as we move forward to meet the State of Ohio's business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of both Salesforce and Mule Soft platforms, exceptional technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with across the business and cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect

• Salesforce and Mule Soft Expertise:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform, staying updated on the latest features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Serve as the integration expert utilizing the Mule Soft platform, understand API architecture, best practices, and expertise.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the overall technical architecture for new development utilizing the Salesforce and Mule Soft platforms.
  • Design scalable and efficient solutions that align with business requirements and long‑term strategic goals.
• Solution Design and Development:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, project managers, and development managers, to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and solution documentation.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of application and systems architecture utilizing Salesforce and Mule Soft solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and security.
• Integration and Data Management:
  • Architect and implement robust integrations between Salesforce, Mule Soft, SQL Server, and other systems within the organization.
  • Architect data migration solutions from SQL Server to our state data lake, including transformation and governance strategies.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancements.
  • Implement best practices to maintain and improve system performance, stability, and reliability.
