PowerFlex Implementation Specialist

Our client, located in Columbus, OH, is currently in need of a Power Flex Implementation Specialist for a 12 month contract. The consultant will work onsite in support of Power Flex implementation and support as well as integration with Open Shift and VMware virtualization.

• Day to day monitoring of the Power Flex infrastructure
• Opening and supporting all Dell support tickets; taking the lead in working with support to drive resolution
• Assisting with general VMware vSphere administration tasks (permissions, standard VM management, etc.)
• Assisting with Power Flex Manager administration
• Assisting with remediation and optimization efforts
• Articulating and recommending best practices within the Power Flex environment

• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Power Flex implementation and support
• Power Flex advanced operational/troubleshooting skills
• Strong Python scripting skills for automation
• Experience with VMware and Open Shift virtualization
• Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and essentials
• Ability to install Ubuntu OS

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $45 – 60 per hour. The posted range is an estimate, the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
