Core Responsibilities
  • Technical Support:
    Serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Resolve basic to intermediate technical issues, including VPN/wireless network connections, email, printing, and O365 queries.
  • Incident Management:
    Record and track all events and resolutions within the Service Now Help Desk Portal; elevate unresolved issues to Tier 2 support as needed.
  • Hardware Deployment:
    Unpack, stage, rack, and install hardware/software; establish network connectivity for new workstations.
  • Security & Compliance:
    Adhere to agency and state IT security policies to promote system awareness and data protection.
  • Emergency Response:
    Serve as a member of the Disaster Recovery, Election Night, and Incident Response Teams as assigned.
Technical Requirements
  • Office 365: 36+ months of experience supporting the O365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • ITSM Tools: 24+ months of experience working with Service Now or similar ITSM products.
  • Collaboration Tools: 6+ months of experience with MS Teams.
  • Education:

    Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Hardware Knowledge:
    Proven ability to set up, install, and monitor personal computers and related peripherals.
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to interpret complex instructions in written, oral, or pictorial formats.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to gather, collate, and classify technical data to resolve routine system problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cooperate with co-workers on group projects and provide top-tier customer service.
