Integration Systems Analyst​/Technical Business Analyst – hybrid Revel IT

Columbus, Ohio client is seeking an Integration Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst for a contract opportunity to collaborate with business and technical teams to design and document system integrations. Analyzes and validates API contracts (REST/SOAP), payload mappings (JSON/XML), and integration workflows.

Note: Must be able to work hybrid (T, W, Th)

• Troubleshoot integration defects by analyzing request/response logs and identifying root causes.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Lead defect triage during SIT/UAT and coordinate cross-team resolution.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across interconnected systems.
• Support production issue analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

• 5+ years as an Integration Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst in integration‑heavy environments.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML.
• Hands‑on experience using Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Experience debugging integration issues at payload level.
• Ability to work across business, engineering, QA, and external vendors.
• Ability to analyze and coordinate with teams.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, JIRA/Confluence and version control (e.g. Git).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
