About the RoleAGE Solutions is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Specialist to join our established team supporting our DoD customer. A successful candidate will be able to work independently and with contract and government personnel to provide voice services support for a customer facility. This role is onsite full-time at our customer's location in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities- Direct technical work on projects.
- Perform analysis and prepare appropriate documentation.
- Prepare and give briefings and presentations.
- Lead the team in on‑site management of installations.
- Install, operate, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair IT system devices, circuits, cables, components, software, and end‑user devices.
- Assist in developing and managing project plans, reviewing task performance, and ensuring work products meet design concepts, user requirements, and schedules.
- Coordinate with Vendor PM, COR, and Program point of contact to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to the Project Manager and customer.
- Manage the assigned queue in Service Now and ensure tickets and incidents are addressed within requirements.
- Provide soft and hard phone installation and configuration.
- Seven (7) years of progressive IT experience including at least five projects in telecommunications and voice services, with at least one within the past three (3) years.
- Experience with VoIP and POTS.
- DoD Secret Clearance with a NACLC or T3 investigation.
- Security+ CE Certification
- CCNA Certification
- Experience with soft phone solutions.
- Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in office, warehouse, and telecommunications closet environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Compensation: $55,000+
