Information Technology Specialist; Sysadmin Security Clearance

Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will provide technical oversight to military and civilian personnel on microcomputer operations, software applications and automated system security.
* You will analyze, evaluate and monitor current microcomputer configuration to determine enhancements, upgrades and modifications needed to improve performance and production and reduce costs.
* You will prepare all required documentation for assigned area.
* You will provide customer assistance and/or training for assigned systems.
* You will be responsible for making sure connectivity to the Navy Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) exists for all personnel. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 411 and 441, proficiency level BASIC the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying information technology principles and practices to provide technical support to personnel;
2) Troubleshooting information technology problems and managing networks and computer systems;
3) Performing preventive maintenance of hardware to include installing and replacing hardware; and
4) Maintaining a current inventory database to include hardware and software systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following four competency areas:
