JOB SUMMARY

Theoris Services is assisting our client with identifying a senior-level Cybersecurity Program Manager who can immediately operate at scale within a fast‑paced cybersecurity environment. This role requires deep, hands‑on experience leading large cybersecurity programs—not just isolated security projects. The Program Manager will oversee complex, multi‑team initiatives that protect and defend enterprise technology, while driving performance across schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.

The position interacts heavily with cross‑functional teams and supports major initiatives, particularly in identity and access management, data protection, cloud security, and future AI‑driven cybersecurity programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and deliver critical cybersecurity programs and projects that protect technology across the enterprise.
  • Control and maintain program schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and technical performance.
  • Drive adherence to program and project methodologies, including:
    • Program scheduling
    • Risk and issue management
    • Scope change management
  • Oversee program budgets, validate estimates, and manage cost variances.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent programs (typically 3–4 large programs of 5,000+ hours each).
  • Work across multiple teams (20–50 people per program) and business units globally.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Step into in‑flight programs and quickly assess and execute.
  • Support cybersecurity focus areas including:
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM) (~65% of current work)
    • Data protection & security
    • Cloud security
    • Network security
    • Application security
    • AI‑driven cybersecurity initiatives
  • Manage M&A, infrastructure, or application development–related cybersecurity programs as required.
  • Define and align program vision with business strategy and ensure effective adoption across teams.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving cybersecurity landscapes.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Deep, extensive experience managing cybersecurity programs (multiple large programs—not limited exposure).
  • 8–10 years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of program management experience in a global enterprise environment.
  • Proven success delivering multiple simultaneous large‑scale programs.
  • Expertise managing schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and scope changes.
  • Experience in cybersecurity initiatives, M&A integrations, infrastructure programs, or large‑scale technical delivery.
  • Ability to quickly learn internal environments and connect technical components.
  • Self‑starter who can hit the ground running with minimal guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive and technical audiences.
  • Tools experience: MS Project, JIRA; familiarity with Azure Dev Ops and Power BI.
DESIRED
  • Agile background or experience working in Agile environments.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CPM, APM, or PgMP.
  • Experience with Clarity PPM.
  • Background in banking or financial services cybersecurity.
