The duties of the Materials Management Specialist will be to administratively support the materials management team in the creation and maintenance of master data.

This role is a great opportunity to start your career in the inventory and category management arena.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain material master data based on the department and company demands.
  • Navigate help desk system, quote application, and catalog management system for material build details.
  • Perform data entry to create new materials using the material builder web application and build directly in SAP.
  • Export data from SAP and Scale to create Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables for master data analysis.
  • Monitor exception reports and correct inaccurate data using SAP and Winshuttle programs to process changes.
  • Troubleshoot material issues in SAP, web applications, interface, and Scale.
  • Support production process through troubleshooting issues in SAP and Scale or processing changes for production orders as needed.
  • Maintain landed cost in SAP for import materials.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college; or two to three year's related experience in the technology field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior Experience working in an administrative function managing data and information in a computer database is essential.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience is required and capability to work in Excel Spreadsheets using V-look up is needed.
  • Experience with SAP or like program is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to support department deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to process improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Pay Starting at $22.00/hour

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
