Role Overview

As a UX Researcher at Cover My Meds , you will use a variety of research methods to guide human-centered product decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, UX, Analytics, and Customer Success teams to uncover user needs, shape product strategy, and deliver insights that directly influence the patient and provider experience. This is a hands-on role for someone excited about solving complex healthcare challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform product strategy, discovery, and design decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify experience opportunities and test product hypotheses.
  • Utilize research methods such as surveys, experiments, data analysis, and moderated/unmoderated studies.
  • Lead and facilitate ideation workshops to support collaborative problem-solving.
  • Present insights and recommendations through clear, compelling storytelling.
  • Contribute to long-term research and UX strategy, ensuring scalable patterns and best practices.
  • Continuously iterate on concepts to build deep expertise in user behaviors and needs.
  • Advocate for UX maturity within your product team and the broader organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills (Required)
  • 4+ years of UX Research experience with digital products.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, experiments, data analysis).
  • Proficiency in long term research method (site visit, journaling, discovery).
  • Ability to independently choose appropriate research methodologies based on goals and constraints.
  • Strong communication skills to execute research activities and engage/influence stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional product teams within a complex business environment.
  • Understanding of the design process from discovery through evaluation.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with product and research tools such as Miro, Fig Jam, Lucidchart, User Testing, User Interviews, or Qualtrics.
  • Comfort with product analytics tools and behavioral analysis.
  • Experience in healthcare or specialty medication workflows.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated field or industry.
